September 2025: Planning authorities in Halden grant permission to take the new Police Station into use.

The completion of the new Halden Police Station is in its final stage. While the exterior landscaping will receive its last touches, the Halden Police Department prepares to move into its new facilities along the bank of the Tista River.

March 2025: Eidsvoll Næringsutvikling and Neue Heimat AS launch the concept of a combined police and fire station for Eidsvoll

The initiative is based on the idea of combining the existing police station with a new fire station to achieve synergies and secure a common emergency and rescue response in case of extraordinary circumstances. The illustration shows first concept sketches.

June 2024: After finishing the new Police station at Eidsvoll, Neue Heimat will now work with the realisation of the Police station in Halden.

The project continues the design of a local architect, MAD Fredrikstad, and will serve as a generic office building with local Police as its most prominent tenant. The client is the construction company of Kopperud Murtnes, also responsible for the Race Control building at Rudskogen, designed by Neue Heimat.

Neue Heimat goes to the Farm

At the end of June 2024, Neue Heimat AS will move to new facilities at Lönneberg farm in Nordre Frogn, Norway.

Neue Heimat AS has found a new home. Our new offices will be situated in idyllic surroundings under the maple tree at Lönneberg (Lönn=Maple tree). The location is situated centrally outside Oslo with short distances to clients both east and west og the Oslo-fjord. The new venue gives Neue Heimat access to spacious offices, a woodworking workshop, and space for the extensive library of publications on architectural history. As we stay committed to quality and human scale, we are going to upgrade the surroundings onwards step by step.

November 2023: "Arkitektopprøret" honours the Police Station at Eidsvoll with its 2nd prize

The new Police Station at Eidsvoll was rewarded with the 2nd prize in the category "Most beautiful new building in Norway 2023" by the Norwegian organisation "Arkitekturopprøret". The organisation engages in a campaign for more traditional architecture and locally adjusted architecture. The prize was awarded after nomination by a jury and a public voting with more than 10 000 participants.

Police Station at Eidsvoll opened

UPDATE October 2023: The work is done. The new police station at Eidsvoll was opened by the Politimester on October 13th, 2023. After three years of intensive work, the work has come to a final halt. The project is among a number of buildings nominated for the honorary prize of the "Architecture Rebellion" – a popular anti-modernist movement in Norway.

Final lap: Restaurant building and race control tower at Rudskogen

With the restaurant building almost finished and the race control tower under construction, a new era is dawning at Rudskogen Motorpark. Contractor Kopperud and Murtnes ar laying a final hand on the buildings as the restaurant will open in September.

June 2023: Eidsvoll Police-station closing in on the finish-line

The new police-station at Eidsvoll will reveal its facade when the scaffolding falls in the forthcoming days. We are looking forward to the opening of the building later this summer.

Only details remain to be finished such as the brick-frame around the entrance and the panels between the windows. The contractor is working intensely to finish the exterior terrain in the forthcoming weeks. The opening date is set to be on August 15th, 2023.

Sarpsborg authorities give building permit to villa-extension at Bakkeliveien

Building-authorities opened the way for the realisation of a 2-floor extension of a private building at Bakkeliveien in Sarpsborg. The extension adapts the 1930s-building to modern requirements and thereby enables the building to be a home for a new generation of the owners family. Construction work commences march 2023.

Prize winning project presented in Woldegk

The results of the Klosterstraße-competition in Woldegk were presented to the public on July 14th in front of a local audience. Neue Heimat and Milatz-Schmidt Architekten presented their contribution which was discussed in detail with the audience.

Success in Germany: Competition Heilgeist-Quartier in Woldegk decided

Heue Heimat AS and Milatz Schmidt Architekten "win" competition Heilgeist-Quartier in Germany

Neue Heimat AS and the German office of Milatz Schmidt Architekten from Neubrandenburg have won the second prize in the project competition on the rebuilding of city-block in the historical town center of Woldegk. "Since the jury chose not to reward a first prize, we basically feel like we have won this thing" - says Martin Ebert, CEO and founder of Neue Heimat AS, smiling.

The site borders on the remains of the old city wall from the 14th century. The project is planned on the site of the historic Holy Spirit Hospice, that was removed in 1796. The new neighborhood-center is placed on the site of the lost Holy Spirit church and by that represents a 21st-century version of the important role the site once had in the social fabric of Woldegk. The architecture is based on small-scale volumes and the typology of the historic city.

March 2022: Building permission for new Eidsvoll police-station granted

On march 31st 2022 Eidsvoll Kommune granted building permission to the new police-station at Nebbenes. Building starts after Easter 2022. The building is expected to be completed autumn 2023.

The new police station becomes part of the municipal project "Landscape-of-the-Law" relating it to Eidsvoll-mansion, the building where Norways first constitution was signed in 1814. The architecture ist formed out of respect to the historical context of the surroundings.

Building permission for new Racecontrol-building granted

March 2022: Rakkestad kommune grants building permission to the new visitor-facilities at Rudskogen Motorsenter. Building has commenced. The new racecontrol-building is expected to open to the public midt 2023. The project contains 3000 m2 of restaurants, conference- and sanitary facilities and the state-of-the-art race control center.

The new race control building is placed between the existing pit lane and the depot.

March 2022: Submission for architectural competition in Woldegk (Germany)

We submitted today to the "Heilgeistquartier"-competition in Woldegk (Germany). The contribution is a cooperation between Neue Heimat AS and our German partners Milatz-Schmidt Architekten in Neubrandenburg. Results are expected in april 2022.

The venue for this competition is the medieval town center of Woldegk in Eastern Mecklenburg.
